Volunteer Opportunities at RuralEdge
RuralEdge is actively involved in our communities. We are always seeking volunteers to assist in our own community outreach efforts, as well as connect potential volunteers with our community partners to assist in their efforts!
Assisting in Community Events
RuralEdge staff are active in their communities and often ask for assistance with community events they are involved in. We serve annually at the Groton Fall Foliage Festival and are present at numerous community events, like the annual Veterans Summit at Northern Vermont University's Lyndon Campus. We are always seeking community-driven individuals and families to join us and expand our presence in all of our communities!
National NeighborWorks Week
As a NeighborWorks America Organization, we host an annual NeighborWorks Week celebration, which is largely centered around community improvement projects both in our properties and in the surrounding communities. In 2022, we built a deck at Glover Housing and cleaned up the area in front of the former general store in Groton! Many hands make light work during this busy week, and we always welcome volunteers to help improve their community spaces!
