State Housing Board Awards $4.5 Million For Greensboro Apartment Project
RuralEdge has received a $4.5 million funding boost from the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board to restore and redevelop the historic Greensboro Town Hall into 20 rental apartments, including three units designated for households exiting homelessness. The funding will facilitate renovations of the existing building and a new three-story addition, with construction expected to start in early 2025 and occupancy anticipated by early 2026. This project is part of a broader initiative, with the VHCB distributing $23.4 million across various housing projects statewide to address Vermont’s urgent housing needs.
