With many COVID-19 restrictions no longer in place, RuralEdge looks forward to engaging our housing communities once again with a variety of exciting events! Here is what we have planned for the week:

Trivia Competition 

June 7th

The Darling Inn, Lyndonville (10am) & Groton Free Public Library, Groton (3pm)

Residents of our Lyndonville senior developments and our Groton and South Ryegate developments will test their knowledge and enjoy the company of their neighbors! The Groton trivia competition is open to the public.

Coffee & Casual Conversation

June 8th

Derby Line Gardens (9am) & Johns River Apartments (10:30am)

Residents of Derby Line Gardens and Johns River Apartments are welcome to reconnect with their community over the classic conversation starter of coffee and doughnuts!

Beautiful Lawn Contest

June 8th@ 1pm

Shattuck Hill Mobile Home Park

Residents of Shattuck Hill Mobile Home Park are invited to place a #NWweek sign in their yard to enter the beautiful lawn contest. Yards will be evaluated on beauty, decoration, and creativity. The winner receives a small prize and all participants receive the benefit of a beautiful lawn prepped for the summer season!

Outdoor Concert

June 9th @ 11am

Sunrise Manor, Island Pond

Residents of Sunrise Manor in Island Pond, as well as RuralEdge's own Island Pond Housing development will enjoy a free outdoor concert and cookout at Sunrise Manor, thanks to the efforts of our SASH Coordinator Melinda Gervais-Lamoureux!

Readying The Pierce Block 

June 9th @ 12:30pm

The Pierce Block, Barton

Residents of Crystal Lake Housing and RuralEdge staff will gather to plant some bushes, flowers, and spread some mulch in front of our new satellite office at The Pierce Block to prepare for its grand opening on June 17th!

Door Decorating Contest

June 10th

The Meadows, Irasburg; Rainbow Apartments, Orleans; & Glover Housing, Glover

Residents of The Meadows, Rainbow Apartments, and Glover Housing will decorate their doors, featuring the #NWweek logo. Doors will be judged based on creativity, theme, and even the decoration of the area outside of the door!

Cornhole Tournament

June 11th @ 2:00pm

Olivia Place, Lyndonville

Residents of Olivia Place, 599 Main, Maple Ridge Mobile Home Park and RuralEdge staff will end the work-week with a cornhole tournament at Olivia Place! Will the victor be a team of RuralEdge staff, or will the residents take home the prize?

June 11th @ 8pm (POSTPONED from 6/5)

Lakebridge Housing, Newport

RuralEdge residents in our Newport and Coventry developments, as well as the wider community are welcome to bring a chair and enjoy some free popcorn as we watch The Lego Movie! This event is free and open to the public.

Dean Hale Building, St. Johnsbury

June is National Homeownership Month! What better way to celebrate than taking the first steps towards achieving homeownership? Our next Homebuyer Education Workshop is scheduled on the final day of #NWweek. Contact our Homeownership Center for more details.
