$6.3M Worth Of Affordable Housing Projects Moving Forward In Danville, Peacham

Rural Edge is set to enhance affordable housing in Danville and Peacham with a $6.3 million project that will rehabilitate the existing Academy Apartments and Grand View Apartments, as well as convert the former Peacham Academy building into housing. Supported by significant funding from the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board and the Vermont Housing Finance Agency, the initiative will create 26 affordable units and include substantial upgrades to existing facilities. The construction phase is expected to be bid out in the fall, with plans to minimize disruptions for current residents during renovations.
